A lateral first-floor apartment in a beautiful period residence, South Kensington, London.
We completed a full interior refurbishment of this stylish two-bedroom lateral apartment, blending historical charm with modern living.
Original architectural details, high ceilings, large sash windows, ornate cornicing and ceiling roses were carefully preserved to celebrate the building’s character, then paired with refined modern elements – a marble fireplace, bespoke cabinetry, sleek lighting and understated hardware, all curated and designed by Tania to complement the client’s art collection. A warm, earthy palette of soft creams, warm taupes and muted gold gives the space a sense of richness without ever tipping into overwhelming – every fabric, marble and piece of custom joinery considered, to create a home that feels as elevated as it does inviting.
